F C Tigers in Action.....Soccer at its Best (Sierra American Soccer Association)

The Sierra Leone Football League in Maryland is gathering momentum with dramatic displays and stunning performances by some of the minnows and underdogs. Last weekend results has set the stage for a ding-dong battle as the league reaches Week Five this Saturday 20^th June. Our man Solomon Anthony brings you the highlights from last week and what’s in store for fans this weekend. Also watch out! F.C. Tiger posted their first Victory of the season, stunning Mighty Blackpoll 2-1 Saturday afternoon Ali and Pa Foday score for F.C. Tiger and Lawson post up the 1 goal for Blackpoll meanwhile Freetonians F.C. cruise to 3-1 Victory over PanAfrick to keep there sheet clean for a unbeaten record which seat them second on the table Tony, Alex, and S. Conteh score for Freetonians and Godwin score for PanAfrik.

 

Abdul Alimao Bangura....Player of the Week

On Sunday, June 14^th Ital F.C. rolled in a 6-0 victory over the rookie team Celebrity 11 which is undergoing humiliation in the league they have concede 16 goals in 3 games losing streak which put most of the fans in doubt about if the team is going to make it to the play offs and the fans are now calling them Celebrity 16.

Ital F.C. led the table with 3 for 3 games winning streak Ital are now be compare to Stock City of the EPL by the fans because of there opening season performance but the big question among the fans is will Ital F.C. maintain the winning form when they start going against the big heads in the league?

Miraji who score 3 goals for Ital, Pablo, Tony and Chiken added the other 3 goals for ital.

Sierra Stars and Debamu fought to 1-1 draw former Edwards and Blackpoll player from Freetown Abdul “Almoa” Bangura  score for Sierra Stars and his performance earn him player of the week award.

Sierra Delta post a 1-0 win over the Jamaican side Flavor Kids after a hard physical game. Sierra Delta player Yusuf “Eche” Sindeh who just came from Sierra Leone made his debut and score the only goal in the game.
