With his ground breaking single "Tutu Party”  he has brought the heat to the airwaves and dancehalls in a number of cities in the United States and now Sierra Leone’s multi-platinum artist Emmerson plans to rock the house down in Edmonton, Canada come Saturday September 8th in support of his second smash album " Tu Fut Arata" headlining North America tour.

Emmerson, who undoubtedly is Sierra Leone’s top selling artist of all time according to Sierra Leone Cassette Sellers Association, kicked off the Canada phase of his North America tour earlier in Winnipeg, Manitoba on the 16th of June. Next stop on the agenda is the City of Oilers, Edmonton, on Saturday September 8th at the South Clare View Centre. Plans are also underway for a show at the West Coast, Vancouver later this year.

Speaking to Standard Times on Monday 27th August, the boss of all “Sugar Meresin” Emmerson said his North American tour is all about his fans who stood behind him and supported  him with respect and much love. “Now, its ‘pay back time’ my turn to give back to them. I want them to know that I love them and I would do all it takes to make them happy and feel appreciated.”

Asked about the forth coming Edmonton show, he said “I love the happy vibe of the people of Edmonton .They showed me love and I had a blast when I was there last year. This time it’s fresh and different as I plan to bring the house down with music and choreographic moves.” The Edmonton Show will bring tracks such as "Borbor Pain”  “Miss You”  “2 Fut Arata” “Some More” and other tracks from his Second CD to life at The South Clare View Stage for the first time on Saturday September 8th 2007.
